About Me and What I Do
Hi! I’m Brooke Johnston, a Toronto based actor, director, and photographer. Doing headshot photography allows me to combine my passion for photography and love of working with actors at all stages in their careers. My background as a director has given me an invaluable insight into the other side of the casting room to see the importance of a good headshot and what makes it stand out in the pile.
As an actor I understand that headshots can be a stressful experience and that is why I want to create an environment that is collaborative and fun. If you don't have an agent yet or are unsure about how this works, I'm very much willing to advise you help you create the look for your "type" and the kind characters you are excited about playing. You're welcome to take my advice, or not. This shoot is about you! :)
Shoots can take place in downtown Toronto or the Niagara region.
Rates
$199 - includes a 1 hour shoot with 2 professionally retouched photos. You can try as many looks as you can fit in that time. If you would like to order extra retouched photos they are $25 each and extra shooting time is $30 per half hour.
